ROGERS — Kenneth Leo Brown, 91, died May 7, 2009, at his home. He was born April 28, 1918, at Randolph, N.Y., to Lewis Henry Brown and Florene Edna Bouton Brown.

He graduated from Bible Baptist Seminary in Johnson City, N.Y., in 1940. He married Lula Irene Smith on Aug. 20, 1940.

He was a minister for 50 years, serving in New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas as pastor, missionary, evangelist, and minister of education. He moved to Rogers in 1996 from Longview, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lula, and a sister, Jean Lawrence.

Survivors include five sons, Douglas Brown of Longview, David Brown of Denham Springs, La., Dale Brown of Montgomery, Ala., Dan Brown of Rogers, and Dwight Brown of San Antonio; three daughters, Donna Orr of Henderson, Texas, Dorene Davis of Alexandria, La., and Deborah O'Toole of Wautauga, Texas; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge with Pastor Al Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
