Sixth child and second daughter of Mary Fisher (Badley) and John Badley, F.R.C.S. She never married and lived most of her adult life at Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England. Her nephew John Haden Badley recalls in his autobiography "Memories and Reflections" 'many pleasant visits there' and 'the fascination in exploring the magnificent castle ruins and its massive Norman keep.
