Obituary for Marion (Cragle) Kreischer
Marion (Cragle) Kreischer, 94, of Johnson Avenue, Berwick, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Berwick Hospital Center.
Born August 13, 1922 in Shickshinny, she was the daughter of the late Norman Wesley Cragle and Verna Mae (Brown) Cragle.
She was employed at Wise Foods, Berwick.
Mrs. Kreischer was a member of Bower Memorial United Methodist Church, Berwick. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and games, doing puzzles, and sleeping. Her family will remember her as a devoted wife and mother.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 43 years, Harold H. Kreischer, who died January 19, 1982; a son, Rev. Larry Kreischer; a daughter, Donna Corozza and her husband John; two brothers: Robert and Richard Cragle; and two sisters: Marie Brown and Pearl Yanulewicz.
Surviving are two sons: Michael W. Kreischer and his wife Remedios Dela Cruz of Berwick, and Ronald Kreischer and his wife Conception Perez of Beach Haven; her daughter, Lisa Kreischer and her companion Donald R. Garrison of Berwick; her daughter-in-law, Marica (Lauer) Kreischer of Berwick; three grandchildren: Marisa, wife of James Scott, Michael H. Kreischer and his wife Rose Hock, and Ashley wife of Jeffrey Border; and three great grandchildren: James Scott, Jr. and his wife Jessica Giordano, Alicia Scott, and Eliana Border.
At the request of the deceased, private graveside services will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., Berwick.
