MRS. EFFIE CAMPBELL DIES AT 71; FUNERAL WILL BE THURSDAY
Mrs. Effie Campbell, 71, died at 12:05 o'clock this morning in McCormick Hospital, where she had been a patient more than two months. She lived at 817 Franklin street.
Born in Greencastle, Ind., Mrs. Campbell had lived in Moberly 27 years, coming here from the Darksville community. She was a member of Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church at Darksville.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by a son, Ray Campbell of Moberly. She reared Mrs. Charlie Burns of Huntsville and Thurba Gairrett of Moberly. A sister-in-law is Miss Hettie Campbell of Darksville.
The body will be in the Snow Funeral Home until services at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in Mt. Shiloh Church by the pastor, the Rev. Ben S. Morris of Centralia. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
