Sara Jane Jozwiak, 65 died on Saturday, November 14, at the Northern Michigan Hospitals in Petoskey.
Mrs. Jozwiak was born on Dec. 11, 1921 in Lake City, and was raised in that area. She has resided in the Gaylord area for many years. She was employed at Glen's Market where she had worked for the past 18 years.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 9:30 a.m. from the Nelson Funeral home, and at 10 a.m. from St. Mary Cathedral.
Mrs. Jozwiak is survived by one daughter, Judi Curl of Ferndale; two sons, William of Gaylord, and Charles of Ferndale; six grandchildren; four sisters, Lillian Wood of McBain, Leona Sawyer of Lake City, Nellie Seller of Lake city, and Bernice Hills of Grand Rapids; one brother Lewis Vincent of Chicago Heights, IL.
Mrs. Jozwiak was in state at the Nelson Funeral home where friends called on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 7-9 p.m. Mon., Nov 16, from noon till 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. till time of service.
A rosary-wake service was offered on Monday at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer society through the Nelson funeral home.
