PAYNE, Reva G. - Of Adrian, Michigan, formerly of Flint, age 95, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Lenawee Medical Care Facility in Adrian. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Stephen Chaney officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lenawee Medical Care Facility, Castlewood Neighborhood in Adrian, MI. Visitation 4-8PM Wednesday and 11AM Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Reva was born in Fountain, Michigan on May 11, 1911, the daughter of Elmer and Mary Wanamaker. She married Robert E. Payne on May 4, 1933 in Flint. Surviving are children, James (Carol) Zoerner of Walled Lake, Gordon (Judell), Kenneth (Virginia) and Raymond (Bernitta), all of Flint, Janice (Thomas) Fader of Tipton, Michigan and Ruth Ann (Lynwood) Mills of Peoria, Arizona; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Rose Wanamaker of Kentwood, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E., in 1982; daughter, Doris J. Hull, in 1998; son, Robert M. Payne, in 1947; 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
