Mrs. June Rose Pickelhaupt, 85, of Port Huron, died, Friday, May 21, 2004 in Marwood Manor.
She was born June 25, 1918 in Port Huron to the late Ernest and Marjorie Warner and was a life long area resident. She married John R. Pickelhaupt on June 10, 1933 in Port Huron. He died February 21, 1976.
Mrs. Pickelhaupt enjoyed reading and visiting with friends.
She is survived by two sons, Mr. and Mrs. John (Peggy) Pickelhaupt of Fort Gratiot and Mr. and Mrs. Mark (Cathy) Pickelhaupt of Taylor, three daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Betty) Landschoot of Fort Gratiot, Mr. and Mrs. Wiliam (Sue) Atkinson of Port Huron Township and Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Judy) Tomrel of Fort Gratiot; 28 grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren; two sisters Ethel Wudorski and Barbara Oliver; several nieces and nephews. She is preceeded in death by two daughters, Dorothy Pickelhaupt and Edith Hamilton, a son, Emil Pickelhaupt; three granddaughters Mechelle, Amy and Allison Lamb; and a grandson Frank Landschoot.
Memorial Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday,May 24, 2004 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Max W. Amstutz officiated.
Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
