BRYAN - Mary Albertha Von Allmen, 99, born June 29, 1911, passed away May 29, 2011 one month short of her 100th birthday She was a resident of St. Matthews in the Crescent Hill area for over 70 years. She was the youngest of six children, born to Peter & Mary Von Allmen. She helped her husband operate Barney's restaurant in St. Matthews for 25 years. A hard working woman, she was tireless in her efforts to stay in touch with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Barnett Bryan; and daughter, Patricia Ann Kaltenthaler. Survived by her sons, Ronald Barnett, and Dr. C. Fred & wife, Barbara; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Committal service will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday crypt side at the Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy. Oldham County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
