George was born in Virden, Manitoba, the eldest son of Grant Frame and Kathleen (K) Kelly. His brother Jack was born in October 1935. George spent his earliest years on the family farm in Lenore until 1938 when the family moved to Darlingford. He began school there with his first teacher being his maternal aunt Mary Kelly. After a short time in Darlingford, the Frame family settled in Holland, Manitoba where Grant ran a garage and K taught school. This was the village which George considered to be his home town. George graduated at age 16 from Grade XII and he moved to Winnipeg to study at the University of Manitoba. He graduated with a BSc in Pharmacy in 1953 and spent his career as a pharmacist in Winnipeg. He married Barbara Anne Jamieson in Holland in 1954 and they had 1 daughter, Daryl, and 2 sons: David and Rob. George died suddenly from a heart attack at the young age of 45. He was a gentle man and a gentleman, who treated all people with dignity and respect and without prejudice. He had a great sense of humour and is missed by us all each and every day. Everyone remembers George as a voracious reader and a tremendously intelligent man. We may have had him for too short a time, but we wouldn't have traded him for anything! He is lovingly remembered by us all.
