Port Huron- Kenneth C. "Pa" Dickinson, 46, of, Port Huron died Sunday, July 22, 2001, in his residence after a long illness.
He was born Oct. 22, 1954 in Port Huron, the son of the late Norvel and Edna Dickinson.
He married Patricia L. Samson on Aug. 21, 1993, in Port Huron.
He was employed at TOPS in Quality in Marysville. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a Mr. Fix-It and bike rider.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Port Huron, and his son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Sue Napora of Port Huron, his daughters and sons-in-law, Carollyn Napora-Pell, and Damon Peel of Port Huron and Margie and Tony Smith, his adopted son, Kenneth Charles "KC" Dickinson-Napora of Port Huron, eight grandchildren; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Scott VanTiem of Smiths Creek, and Marsha and Jim Fayed of Port Huron, his brother Gary Dickinson of Arizona, and several nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister Gail Hill; his brother Thomas Dickinson, his grand daughter Shelia Marie Mlynarski, and a nephew, Scotty VanTiem.
Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave., at 17th Street. The Rev. Dellis Hudson, Chaplin of Blue Water Hospice, will officiate.
Visiting hours are 2-4 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the wished of the family.
