Jean was a life long member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, attending grammar school there. She was active on various committees and most recently on liturgical planning and the Saturday morning prayer group. She attended high school at St. Mary’s Academy and went on to college at Marquette University where she received a bachelor’s degree in English. She later earned a masters degree in Library Science from UW-Madison. She initially taught English at East Troy High School, then became a librarian for the Oak Creek School District from where she retired.
