Born to Christian Albert Akeo and Laura Lucille Akeo.His death was was preceded by his wife, Maxine;his brother, Chistian Albert Akeo Jr.; his sister, Laura Scurlock. Don wish was to be buried with his parents and brother overlooking Los Angeles Harbor which his father helped engineer. Don is survived by his step-daughter Sheryl Wood-Talor,nieces Mary Ellen Hirt, Chris Altenes and Barbara Peters. (The Orange County Register,March 6,2006)
