Paul Birosak Sr., 919 Lackawanna Ave., Mayfield, a resident there 40 years, died Saturday at home after suffering a heart attack. A retired miner, Paul was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and its Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Fife, at home; two sons, Paul, Mayfield, and Bernard, Forest City; a sister, Mrs. Mary Radzville, Plainsville; three brothers, William, Pittston; Jacob, Chicago, and Joseph, California.

The funeral of Paul Birosak Sr.; 919 Lackawanna Ave., Mayfield, was held Wednesday from the home with mass in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church by Rev. Anthony A. Suchocki. Pallbearers were: Andrew Buchinski, Michael Stash, Joseph Pidgeon, Frank Ritter, Stanley Brzuchalski and Wasco Branick. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, where Father Suchocki conducted committal rites.
