WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Mary M. Krakowski, 89, of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was born in Swoyersville on Sept. 6, 1927, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Baldovsky. Mary was formerly employed by the Silco Company. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish at St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception in Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen J. Krakowski, in 2000. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and John Baldovsky, and by her sisters, Rita Hornick and Margaret Gambini. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Parish at St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, 134 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dallas. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
