Joseph J. Baldovsky, 69, of Linden died yesterday at home. Born in Swoyersville, he was son of the late Mary Filip Baldovsky and Joseph Baldovsky. He resided in Linden, N.J., for 40 years. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and received two Purple Hearts for wounds received at the Chosen Reservoir. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the 6th Ward Democratic Club of Linden, N.J. Mr. Baldovsky worked for the Linden Department of Public Works for 10 years. Before that, he had been a sawman with the Silverline Building Products Co. in Kenilworth for 25 years. A Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. George's Byzantine Catholic Church, Linden, following the funeral from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke St., Linden.
