Michael John Berg Jr., age 41, of Mondovi (formerly of South Milwaukee) died on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eau Claire.
He was born on May 29, 1972 to Michael and Susan (Worzala) Berg. On July 27, 1996, Michael married Victoria J. Carlson in Tomah, Wisconsin. Michael served as an United States Marine being honorably discharged in 1992. Unfortunately, he was affected with multiple health issues from the Gulf War. Michael was an active member and advocate for several veterans groups throughout Wisconsin and the country. He was very talented when it came to working on cars or any kind of machinery. He was a man of all trades and worked for a towing company in Milwaukee for many years prior to having more serious health issues. But most memorable was his smile and his love and devotion he had for his family.
Michael is survived by his wife, Victoria; children, Amber, Michael, and Brianna; step son, Matthew; mother, Susan Worzala; and brother, Jeff Berg both of North Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael, Sr.; paternal grandparents; and two uncles.
