Ara Viola was a twin to Ava Belle, the youngest of six children born to Clarke and Viola Havenhill of Elk City, Oklahoma. They were born 16 JAN 1912. Their mother died two weeks later on 01 FEB 1912, age 26. A relative came to take the babies to be raised together somewhere else. But Baby Ava died nine days after her mother when she was less than a month old. She was buried in her mother's arms. Although they kept in touch over the years, Ara was not reunited with her siblings until 1947, when she was thirty-five years old. She married Lee Call, they had a daughter Lois Lee [top photo]. She married Cal Evinger, they had a daughter Karen and a son Blaine.
