David was born the son of David Alfred and Ann Lancaster Gachot, Sr. David was a patrolman for the Heber Springs Police Department for the past 7 years and had been a resident of Heber Springs since 1997. He was a 1986 graduate of Mesquite High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Desert Storm with the military police. David was a member of the Heber Springs First Baptist Church and sang in the Gloryland Quartet. He was an honorary member of the Heber Springs Rotary Club, a volunteer fireman with the Heber Springs Fire Department and was active in Child Safety Projects and MADD. He was a loving son, grandson, husband, father and brother David is survived by his wife Tammy Spindle Gachot, a daughter Rhylie Morgan Gachot, two sons Ethan Cole Gachot and Nathan Ryan Gachot: his parents David and Ann Gachot Sr. of Mesquite, Texas, a brother Donald Allen Gachot and his daughter Baylee of Mesquite, Texas, a sister Debra Sanchez, husband Able and children Lauren Dillard and Cody Sanchez of Mesquite,Texas, his father and mother-in-law James and Vivian Spindle of Josephine, Texas, a sister-in-law Shanna Cullom and husband Chris and their children Katlyn, Kenzie, Kellsey and Kaleb all of Josephine, Texas, his grandmothers Betty Lancaster of Garland, Texas and Mary Gachot of Heber Springs.
Pallbearers will be Donald Gachot, Ron Hamlet, Lloyd White,Chris Beknight, Gary Peeler and David Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Heber Springs Police Department, Cleburne County Sheriff's Department and members of the Arkansas State Police.
