SUDDEN DEATH. Rudolph Borgerding Dies at Washington City. The many friends in this city of Rudolph Borgerding, a former New Albanian, were shocked to learn of his death, which occurred at Washington, D.C., Sunday morning. Mr. George Borgerding, brother of deceased, was apprised by letter several days ago that he was ill. Yesterday morning he received a note that he was dying and a short time after this received a letter that he was dead. Deceased was 37 years of age and unmarried. Rudolph Borgerding was a young man of steady habits and of firm character. He possessed a kindly disposition and was liberal and generous in all things. In his early life he learned the trade of printer in the LEDGER office, after which he was offered and accepted a position in the composing rooms of the Louisville Courier-Journal. Later he secured a lucrative position in the Government Printing office at the National Capitol, which he held up to the time of his fatal illness. His father, Mr. H. R. Borgerding, survives him.
