Helen Mae Pavey, 70, of Wake Village, Texas, died Tuesday, October 24, 2000, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Pavey was born August 2, 1930, in Helena, Montana. She was a former employee of Texarkana College and H&R Block, a retired secretary and a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil R. Pavey of Wake Village; one son, Mark Pavey of Houston; one daughter, Mona Fomby of Texarkana; her mother, Agnes Walker of Livingston, Montana; two sisters, Anna Bell Winfrey of Livingston and Shirley Carlin of Jacksonville, Florida; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Joe Sheeler and Raymond Braswell officiating under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. Visitation will be following the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Texarkana or Shriners' Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas.
