Mary Ann was a charter member of Wellspring Assembly of God Church. She attended Harrison High School where she was involved with the Music and Drama Departments. After graduation, Mary Ann became very involved with the local Dog Shows where she would assist the dogs and their owners in preparing for the events. She would sing at many of the openings of the dog shows, as well as singing at many other functions throughout her life. Mary Ann also enjoyed line dancing.
