He was employed as Chief of Buildings and Grounds at the Bath V.A.M.C. He was a veteran and a Purple Heart recipient of WWII. Frank was a life member of the Bath V.F.W. and Bath B.P.O.E. 1547. He was also one of the Founders of the Bath Ambulance Corps, a Bath Councilman, and in his early years, was a Trackman for the Erie Railroad. Frank was an avid supporter of the Bath Humane Society, an avid sports fan and enjoyed refereeing most.
He is survived by his 4 sisters; Marguerite (Frank) Anioloski, Rosi Fiordo and Carmalena Minichello all of Kanona, NY and Ann Stever of Bath, NY, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Frank was predeceased by his wife Margaret on 11/14/01, his sister Mary Bottoni and 2 brothers; Nicholas and Peter.
Friends may call on Monday January 7th from 1:00-3:00 PM at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath and 6:00-8:00 PM at St. Mary's Church in Bath with an Elks service at 7:00 PM and Christian Wake Service at 7:45 PM. The funeral will be Tuesday January 8th at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 32 East Morris Street, Bath where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Reverend Robert W. Hammond and Reverend Richard Shatzel. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Bath. Memorials in Frank's name may be made to St. Mary's Church Memorial Fund, 32 East Morris Street, Bath, NY 14810 or to a charity of one's choice.
