Mother of Minerva (later the wife of John T. Monnett) Amanda, William Clay, Aron, Franklin, Alice Bell, and Eliza (wife of Christopher Brady). She and her husband also raised her younger sisters Sarah Fickle Drake, Margaret Ann Fickle, Cordelia Fickle, and possibly a younger brother, Eliot following her mother's death in 1846.
Following her husband's death in 1861, she remained on the farmstead in Marion Township until her death from "cancer" (as reported in the newspapers of the day) in 1872.
Per cemetery records, the burial took place on July 16, 1872. This will disagree with the Marion Cemetery, book II, Marion Area Genealogical Association which has the date as 1873. The cemetery has updated the computer year in the computer with the lot slip to reflect 1872.
