PALMYRA FARMER TAKEN BY DEATH
Funeral Services were held last Sunday afternoon for John Oliver, 71-year old farmer of Palmyra; Mr. Oliver died last Friday after a lengthy illness. Rev. Nickells, Baptist minister of Ashland, officiated the last rites, with burial being made in the Oliver Cemetery. Surviving are these 12 children: Garrett, Joshua, James, George, and Roscoe, all of Hopewell; Mrs. Eva Rayburn of Palmyra; Mrs. Nancy Conley of Princess; Buck and William of Quicksand; Mrs. Ida Holt and Mrs. Doshie Wright of Knox, Indiana; and Clara Oliver of Palmyra.
