OLD VETERAN DIES.
Rufus Adams, aged 70, an old soldier, died last night at 10 o’clock at the home of his son Roy Adams, East 13th Street, after an illness of several weeks with paralysis. He served during the war in Co A, 49th Ind. He is survived by the following children; Mrs. James Webb, of Richmond; Forest Adams, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Sadie Rose, of Illinois; and Roy, Frank and Clyde Adams, of this city. One brother, Cyrenus Adams, and a sister, Mrs. Saders, also mourn his death.
Funeral tomorrow at 10 o’clock at the 8th Street Methodist Church in charge of Rev. Kroft. Burial at Rose Hill.
