Kevin Endelman, 54, of Charles City, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City following an accident on the Cedar River doing what he loved, fishing.

A memorial service for Kevin Endelman will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Charles City with Pastor Jim Beranek officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the church on Monday.

Kevin Neal Endelman, the son of Roland and LaVon (Muller) Endelman, was born May 7, 1961 in Charles City. He went to school in Charles City, graduating from Charles City High School in 1979. Kevin entered the work force after high school working numerous jobs. On February 14, 1994, Kevin was united in marriage to Julie Uetz in Charles City. The couple made their home in Charles City and were blessed with their son, Levi. Kevin worked for Wanzek Construction as a wind turbine technician for almost six years around Charles City and traveled all over the United States to help assemble wind turbines. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Charles City. Kevin enjoyed hunting and fishing, but loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his son, Levi. He was so proud that Levi had been accepted to medical school starting next Fall.

Living family members include his wife, Julie; son, Levi; parents, Roland and LaVon Endelman; mother-in-law, Sharon Uetz; sister-in-law, Jill Uetz all of Charles City; sister-in-law, Lisa Broek (Randy Moore) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two nephews: Max and Austin Uetz; along with other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eno and Lucille Endelman; maternal grandparents, John and Etta Muller; father-in-law, Alvin Uetz; brother-in-law, Alan Uetz; and sister-in-law, Stacie Lynn Uetz.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor's choice.
