Ruth married Raymond John Hanneman on 1 Sep 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. The couple had three children, RoseMarie, Ruthie and Roger. Everyone's initials were RH.
In later years Ruth went back to work. Ruth got a office job at Chrysler because of her neat penmanship. After 18 years with Chrysler she retired early because of Ray's failing health. Ray died shortly and Ruth moved to Lake Worth, Florida. Ray's mother lived nearby and Ruth had cousins there too.
Living in Florida agreed with Ruth. When she was 65 she learned how to ride a two wheel bike! She made many friends living in Florida and enjoyed her many years of retirement.
After over 20 years as a widow on 5 Apr 1991 Ruth married the widower Raymond P. Thieroff.
Ruth loved to write letters to family, friends and pen pals. People always commented how beautiful and even her handwriting was. Ruth cherised the letters and cards she had from friends and family and would often reread them.
She also wrote many short stories about her life. These were enjoyed by Ruth's family and countless others as many of these stories were published in several small newspapers.
Besides writing and having sewing as a hobby Ruth enjoyed doll collecting and genealogy. Ruth was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution based on five of her Buckingham, Jones and Forbes ancestors.
Her family misses her smile, stories and loving companionship.
