Playwright, Actor. Moving to New York in 1908, he took the name Saxon Kling for his stage name and became a member of the Washington Square Players, a little theatre group dedicated to producing plays from emerging artists. Kling's good looks landed him many roles in mainstream theatre. He took up playwriting in his latter years. His biggest success coming in the late 1920s with the comedy "Crashing Through."
