Eldest child and son of Samuel and Dorothy Mary (Drollinger) Hinaman. In 1902 he converted to Catholicism and married Elnora (Nona) Younkins. The couple had no children. There is evidence to suspect that the marriage caused a rift in the relationship within his family.

It is believed, and it would be logical, to conclude, that Henry was born in Richland Township, Marion County, Ohio, however, no verifiable record/proof to that effect has been found.

1) The Ohio Death Certificate date is 11/14/1914, which is what we are using here.
2) The marker shows a year of death as 1915 and is a miss-cut.
3) A request has been made to update his place of birth to read "Richland Township, Marion County, Ohio." I have asked for additional information to support this. The ODC simply states Marion County, Ohio.
