BALTIMORE CITY POLICE OFFICER
KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY
Off. Miller was a 32 year veteran of the Baltimore City Police Department. On June 12, 1986 he was assigned to directing traffic on E. 33rd St. in front of Memorial Stadium for a Baltimore Orioles game. He was targeted and intentionally hit by a motor vehicle being driven by a man under the influence of drugs. He died from his injuries on July 21, 1986. The man who hit him was convicted of murder & sent to prison.
