Off. Frank responded to a family disturbance at 1619 Marshall Street. After speaking to a hysterical female on the sidewalk, a male subject slammed the front door of the house. Off. Frank approached the door and the male suspect shot through the door striking Off. Frank twice. The suspect was apprehended by backup officers. Off. Frank had 7 months of service with the department and was single. He is the beloved son of the late George W. Frank and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Annie W. Kennedy & his step father Mr. John T. Kennedy.
