Michael Allen Jones was born February 18, 1962 in LaGrange, IL to Frederick Allen and Joan Powell Jones. He was married in Manchester, MO on June 16, 1990 to the love of his life and his best friend, Yvonne Nutter Jones, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James D. Nutter of Manchester, MO.He unexpectedly passed away on October 20, 2012. Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Yvonne; their two cherished children, Lauren Nicole and Ryan Michael, all of Mundelein, IL; his Mom, Joan Powell Jones of The Woodlands, TX, his sisters Jennifer Ko Jones of Austin, TX; and Susan Elaine Lottimer (husband, Clem) and their son, Wade Hamilton Lottimer all of Blaine, WA.Mike graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. He had a fulfilling career in several industries working with Conoco, DuPont, Anderson Consulting, Ameritech, SBC, and most recently, ADP Dealer Services. Mike served his community as President, Board Member and Coach of Mundelein Little League Baseball and Softball, Coach for American Youth Soccer Organization and Board Member for Carmel Catholic High School Street Scenes.Visitation will be held at Kristan Funeral Home, Friday, October 26, 2012 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. 219 West Maple Ave. (2 blocks west of Rt. 45 on Rt. 176) Mundelein, IL. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville, IL. Interment immediately following mass at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
