Ruth Price Watkins passed away peacefully on January 16, 2016 at the age of 53. Ruth was born on June 24, 1962 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She lived in Tulsa through high school, graduating from Memorial High in 1980. She attended TCU and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She also attended the University of Oklahoma.
She was a gifted athlete. She started playing softball as a pitcher in grade school and did well at every sport she ever tried. As an adult, she moved on to golf and always loved to run. Ruth was a landscape architect and owned Watkins Landscape.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard E. Price.
She is survived by her daughters Katie and Paige, her mother Jane Price and her sisters Rebecca Price and Frances Price Bowman.
