Jack Roy died December 24, 1991 at his home on Lake Palestine in Henderson County, Texas. He was born in Mart, Texas on August 22, 1929 to Thomas Hiram Roy and Blanche Virginia (Harding) Roy. He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Maurine Ivory. He was survived by his wife, the former Anna "Laverne" Staines; children, Richard, Paul, and Terri; mother, Blanche Faunce; sisters, Margie Bernard, and Jean Novak; and brother, Thomas Hiram "Bud" Jr.; and grandchildren, Lexann, Emily, and Cody.
