Formerly a pastor for the Evangelical church, he served 25 years at charges at Hanover, McClure, New Berlin, Williamsport, Lock Haven, Hellam, Danville and Berwick. During the past year he was a director of tours.
Surviving are his widow, Minerva, of Reading, and these children: Raymond R., of Berwick; John S., and Paul C., both of Reading; Viola, wife of Harold Hickoff, Lock Haven; Florence, wife of Harry Lerch, Reading; Sarah, wife of Thomas Trapane, Berwick, and Betty Jane, of Reading.
Private funeral services are scheduled for the Fred T. Groff parlors, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Interment in Laureldale cemetary, Reading.
