Mr. Addison passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Brookwood Hospital. He was born on June 9, 1934 in Iuka, Mississippi to the late D.C. Addison and Ava Lou Edmondson Addison. Charles retired from Axsys Technologies with over twenty years of service as a Master Machinist. He served his Country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and into the Vietnam War on the Honor Detail for fallen service members. Mr. Addison was a member of Persimmon Grove church of Christ for over 50 years, and was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Billie Ruth Rutledge and one infant sister.
Survivors include his Wife of 53 Years – Eileen K. Graves Addison and other family.
