The Civil War records for the 7th Florida show two men named Fleming: John Fleming was discharged for reason of being "underaged and undersized." James Fleming (also given as Flemming) enlisted in May of 1862 and died of disease July 10, 1862 in Atlanta. Capt. Vanlandingham's Company (G). He was survived by his father. This is probably James's grave.
