***** I was not in E company, but I had many friends that were and SGT. Brown was one of them. We rode the gun jeeps together at night to try to keep the 8 mile dirt road open from the VC. who mined it, most every night. SGT. Brown and the men of E company, will always be my friends and my hero's. I was proud to serve with them in the 2/60th Infantry. Over 215 men of the 9th Division 2/60th died in the year we served together in Vietnam. They are all hero's and will, not be forgotten.
