Wilhelmena was the daughter of Carl Pahler and Pauline Schmidt. On 25 May 1909 she married Raymond DeLong and they had two children, Anna and John. The couple separated in 1913 and on 26 Apr 1917 their divorce was finalized. On 09 Jul 1917 Minnie married Thomas Briggs. They had no children together. Thomas died in 1928 and Minnie remained a widow for the remainder of her life. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 63.
