Robert was the son of Herbert Bauman and Gertrude Norton. On 19 Aug 1983 he married Cheryl Heckman and they had three children: Leah, Christopher and Laura. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and the controller for the Housing Authority for Jeffersonville, Indiana. Robert died of cancer at the age of 62.
