Ruth was the daughter of Rowland Mook and Elizabeth Buchheit. On 15 Apr 1945 she married Henry Allgeier. They would celebrate 66 years of marriage together and have six children: Richard, Lawrence, Elizabeth, Wayne, Daniel, and Timothy. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Ruth died of sepsis at Floyd Memorial Hospital at the age of 83.
