Katherine was the eldest of four children born to Albert Arts and Anna M. Keller. On 02 Oct 1884 she married William Henry Eschman in Louisville, Kentucky, and they had seven children: Annie, William, Alexander, Viola, Florence, Corinne and Ruth. She was known as "Ma" to many of her children and grandchildren. Katherine died of a cerebral hemorrhage at the Norton Infirmary at the age of 90.

Katie was my 2X great-grandmother.
