Annie was the eldest of seven children born to William Henry Eschman and Katherine Arts. In 1901 she contracted, but survived, a severe case of thyphoid fever. On 07 Sep 1904 she married Robert Frederick Sauer and they had three daughters, Leona, Elsie, and Florence. Robert died in 1924 and about 1937 Annie married August Bronger. She died at Brownsboro Hills Nursing Home at the age of 78.
