Frederica was the daughter of Gottfriedt Leopold Greve and Louisa Wolff. She was the sister of Sophia (#73928987) and Henry (#90548868). On 04 Aug 1827 she married Caspar Wilhelm Eschmann and they had twelve children: Wilhelm, Ernst, Diederich (Julius), Friederich, Johanna, Carl, Emilie Henrietta, Wilhelmine (Mathilda), Heinrich, Emilie Sophia (Louisa), Julia, and Augusta. About 1849 the family immigrated to the United States and settled in Lawrence, Ohio. Several years later the majority of the family moved to Louisville, Kentucky. Frederica died of old age at the age of 78.
