Albert was the second of four children born to Albert Arts and Anna Keller. About 1900 he married Julia E. Heinzman and they had four children: an unnamed infant boy and a girl who died shortly after birth, Katherine and Louise. Albert was a bartender (Carraro Brothers) and restaurant worker for many years. At the time of his death he was a night-watchman at a foundry. He died of epithelioma at the age of 67.
