Ronald Allgood, 64, of Santa Margarita died on Wednesday, February 23, 2000, at a Templeton hospital after a brief bout with Cancer.
Son of Ernest and Emily Allgood. Mr. Allgood was born on May 30, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He served in the Army and was a veteran of both Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He won numerous awards for bravery as an infantryman.
After leaving the military, Mr. Allgood managed construction sites in and around Washington, D.C.
He moved to the Central Coast in the late 1980's where he was involved in ranch management.
Mr. Allgood, known as "Spider" to many, was known as a talented handyman who was always willing to help out with outdoor projects, as well as a good neighbor and friend.
Mr. Allgood is survived by his two sons, two daughters, and six grandchildren.
At his request, his remains will be scattered in the country he loved. ** scatter his ashes on the Lee Ranch overlooking Rinconada and Santa Margarita. The ranch is about 8 miles south of Santa Margarita and needs accessed through another ranch.
