Viva Lea Osborn, 75, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Friday October 26, 2007 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
The daughter of Loy Emanuel and Ethel D. (Shoop) Gillispie, she was born July 6, 1932 in Sullivan County, Missouri. On December 18, 1949 in Kirksville, Missouri Viva was united marriage to Lloyd Oliver "Buck" Osborn who preceded her in death on January 4, 2004.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Gary Steven and Robert Bruce Osborn and one brother, Robert Gillispie.
Viva is survived by one son, Terry Allen Osborn and wife Linda of Alexandria, LA; one daughter, Lorrie Sue McKim and husband Steve of Kirksville; one sister, Crystal ROgers of Kirksville; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild as well as three nephews.
Viva was a homemaker who loved her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed cooking.
She was a member of the Church of Christ of Kirksville.
FUneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 30, 2007 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville with Brother Barry Poyner officiating. Burial will be in the Queen City Cemetery at Queen City, Missouri.
Bearers will be Steve McKim, Blake Rogers, Steven Osborn, Alan Kline, and Tom McKim. Honorary bearer will be John Gillispie.
