He was born Feb. 20, 1890, at Atlanta, a son of Abraham Lincoln and Georgia Jones Botkin. He married Wavie Rench June 8, 1926, in Bloomington.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Dick, Chicago; three grandchildren; and a brother, Oliver, Pomona, Calif. A brother, a sister, a half-brother and a half-sister preceded him in death.
Mr. Botkin was a member of the Christian Church and Royal Neighbors of American Lodge, and a charter member of the Atlanta American Legion Post.
