DALLAS FIREMAN'S FUNERAL MONDAY
Funeral Services for Thomas McCurdy Apperson, 37, employee of the Dallas Fire Department at Station No 8 for the last eight years, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Community Chapel. He died Saturday at the home of his sister 5506 Lindell.
Services will be conducted by Dr George W Truett and burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be R F Carlisle, Percy Oliver, J E Whitehead, Capt W J Kramer, Capt B C Willon and L W Moore.
Survivors are three sisters and two brothers, Mrs M E Threadgill, Mrs W J Colwell, Mrs W D Downs, W L Apperson and E F Apperson, all of Dallas,
Mr Apperson was born Sept 16, 1892 at Colorado, Mitchell County.

According to Vera Apperson English in her book "The Apperson Famiy in America" Thomas, called Mack, learned the plumbing trade and most of his working years were with the Dallas Plumbing Company. He developed TB and died January 30, 1930, following a long illness.
