Born in Spring Township, he was a son of the late John and Sarah (Matz) Blimline.
He was a member of Mohn's Memorial Evangelical Congregational Church, Mohn's Hill.
Blimline had been employed for 25 years by he W,. G. Leininger Knitting Co., Mohnton, and last had been employed in the maintenance department by Maier's Sunbeam Bakery before retiring.
He was an Army veteran of World War I.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons: Austin W. of Leesport R.D.1 and Elmer M. Jr. of Reading, and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, is in charge of arrangements."
